“Come follow me.” Christ’s simple invitation that has inspired people for centuries. It ignites the question, “How do we follow God’s way of love?” During the season of Lent (the six weeks prior to Easter), the community at Central Union Church invites you to experience this question in tangible and transformative ways. Join Pastor Brandon and others in exploring a core practice of the Lenten season, fasting. In the faith formation series, “More with Less” we’ll discover that fasting is about a lot more than just less food. For 5 Wednesdays starting on March 8th we'll explore the scriptures, engage in thoughtful conversation, and listen for the Holy Spirit as we attempt to take Jesus up on his invitation.
During Lent you’re welcome to come at 5:00pm for the Labyrinth, 5:30pm for Centering Prayer, 6:00pm for a community meal, 6:30pm for the “More with Less” or come for it all! Lent at Central Union will be a great time of discovery and enrichment for your soul.
