He previously served for thirty years as Senior Pastor of Greenleaf Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and as President of the North Carolina NAACP\, and is widely known for his biblically grounded preaching and moral leadership.\n\nRev. Dr. Owens‑Barber is Senior Pastor of Saint James Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in North Carolina and brings decades of experience in congregational leadership\, education\, and community engagement. Her ministry reflects a deep commitment to pastoral care\, faith formation\, and service rooted in the gospel.
