DESCRIPTION:Bring your keiki for a quick and fun Easter Eggstravaganza! \n\n\n\n\nJoin our Children’s Ministry for their annual Easter Eggstravaganza following the 9 AM worship service (and preceding the 11 AM worship service) on Easter Sunday\, April 5. \nIt’s a quick and fun activity to let your keiki experience some Easter joy. \nIt’s BYOB—keiki are invited to bring a basket and collect as many eggs as they want. The eggs will be empty (like the tomb on Easter morning) but they can turn in their eggs in exchange for a goody bag! \nEach egg collected will represent a monetary donation. This year\, the donation will go toward local recovery and relief efforts following the floods that devastated many communities in Hawai‘i. This project will continue throughout the Easter season until Pentecost.

Then\, like the early disciples sent out\, we will scatter across our community to participate in acts of compassion\, justice\, and care.\n\nA Variety of Ways to Serve\nWhether you’re ready to roll up your sleeves or prefer to stay closer to campus\, there’s an activity and place for you:\n\n\n\n\nMaking Genki Balls – care for creation (Aloha Lanai)\n\n\nAssembling Aloha Kits – care for neighbor (Women’s Building)\n\n\nClean CUC parking lots – care for our shared spaces\n\n\nVisit CUC home-bound members – care for our ‘ohana\n\n\nPick up trash – care for creation and communal spaces (Ala Moana Beach Park)\n\n\nAdvocacy letter writing – care for neighbor\, creating change (Rewick Board Room)\n\n\n\n\n\nLiving Our Faith Beyond the Sanctuary\nThis day is a living sermon. It’s a chance to be God’s hands and feet in the world—to listen deeply\, serve humbly\, and love boldly. As we move from pews to parks\, from hymns to hammering\, we remember that worship doesn’t end with the benediction. It begins again in every act of mercy and every gesture of grace.\n\nWhether you’re picking up trash\, sharing stories with kūpuna\, putting together aloha packs for our unhoused friends\, or simply offering a smile to a stranger\, you are part of a sacred movement. DESCRIPTION:On this Sunday\, we will have just one joint worship service to celebrate CUC’s Youth Confirmation Class of 2025! \nConfirmation is an important rite of passage in the United Church of Christ. It is a time when young people have the opportunity to affirm the vows made during their baptism and to declare publicly that they are ready to take responsibility for their own journey of faith. \nPlease join us this Sunday to celebrate our youth who will be confirmed this year. There will be one worship service at 10 AM in the Sanctuary. Following the service\, we will gather in the Women’s Building to visit with the confirmands and have some refreshments. \nPlease plan to come to support our youth who are taking a new step in their faith journey!

Drivers should enter via Punahou Street\, purchase a ticket\, and the parking attendant will direct them to a spot. \nFor parking updates\, please check the Central Union Church of Honolulu Instagram account @centralunionchurch on February 7 and 8. \nVehicles may remain parked shortly after the carnival closes\, but it’s important to be aware that there will be no parking attendant or security on campus after 10 PM. \nAll funds raised will contribute toward Central Union Church youth events and philanthropic projects. \n~ ~ ~ ~ ~ \nChurch members\, we welcome volunteers!
