That’s why Good Friday is so dark\, and so Good.

It is believed to be the day when Jesus celebrated his final Passover with his disciples\, washed the feet of his disciples in an extraordinary display of humility\, and left his disciples with the command: “A new commandment I give to you\, that you love one another: just as I have loved you\, you also are to love one another” (John 13:34).

SUMMARY:Walking Moai
DESCRIPTION:The Kapiolani Park walking Moai has moved to Tuesday afternoons at 4pm. Parking is free in the lots along Monsarrat Ave\, where we meet by the hula girl statue at the duck pond on the ewa side of the bandstand. All are welcome\, join us and bring a friend. We walk under the shady trees around the park and partly on the sidewalk along the ocean – it’s breezy and beautiful! \nMoai is a concept from Okinawa\, Japan\, that roughly translates to “coming together for a common purpose”. It’s a great way to expand your social network while also getting in some physical activity. \nYou are welcome to join in at anytime and come when your schedule allows.
