CUC Pohnpei Ministry

The Pohnpei Ministry extends the mission and ministry of Central Union Church to the Pohnpeian community in Hawai‘i. Pohnpeian worship services began in 2004 at Central Union and became an official ministry of the church in 2006. A weekly Sunday service offers the opportunity for our Pohnpeian community to connect culturally, spiritually, and globally. Our Pohnpeian leaders conduct worship in the Pohnpeian language through spoken word and song.

WORSHIP
The Pohnpei Ministry gathers for worship (in Pohnpeian) in Atherton Chapel every Sunday from 11 AM to 12:30 PM, except on the first Sunday of every month when they join the 9 AM English worship service in the Sanctuary to assist and partake in communion. The Pohnpei choir also sings in the 9 AM worship service on the first Sunday of the month.
