Youth On The Move

Youth in grades 6 thru 12 are invited to gather with Central Union Church’s youth group. We celebrate a diverse range of young people and welcome all. There are no dues, no initiations, no special qualities or skills required. All you have to do is come! Come as you are and come when you can. We’d love to get to know you and share with you.

As we talk, play, share, learn, serve, laugh, and worship together, we build community, grow in faith, and support one another to be the best we can be for ourselves and the world around us.

Youth typically meet on Sunday mornings (unless otherwise noted).
The youth room is open from 10:15am – 12:00pm on Sundays.
10:15am – 11:00am – All youth welcome!
11:00am – Lunch for those who can stay for continued fellowship.

Youth are encouraged to attend one of Central Union’s Sunday worship services (7am, 9am, 11am) – most attend the 9:00 traditional service. We try to meet at a time that is convenient for youth that attend any service.
Additional activities and events will be announced.

In the church
Youth are invited to take part in the worship services as greeters, acolytes (light the candles), ushers (collect offering), and readers. They may also share gifts of music. There are many opportunities for youth to serve within the church.
In the community
Events are planned for youth to serve with different organizations on the island and learn about how their work is making a positive impact in our community.

Youth in grades 6-12 (and their families!) are invited to join us as we kick off a new year! Come enjoy food, fun, fellowship, and the pool at Aunty Peggy’s house on Sunday, August 11 from 11 AM to 2 PM. This is an opportunity to get to know other youth in the church and learn more about being involved as a youth at CUC. Speak with Kristen, the Youth Director, if you have any questions. Please RSVP by August 6. 927-0741. We hope to see you there!
