How We Give
As a member of the United Church of Christ we strive to give away more than we use. This means that during our largest attendance periods we give away our collections to the following UCC fund drives.
Central Union Church has been the benefactor for many groups that are now are well established non-profit organizations, and prominent fixtures within the community. We also provide a scholarship through our Thrift Shop proceeds run by our Women’s League.
Family Promise works with different faith communities and organizations to aid families with children experiencing homelessness and help them transition to sustainable independence. While staying at our church for the week, families from Windward Oahu and Honolulu will be able to find a safe place to sleep, plenty of food to eat and most importantly, warm hospitality.
