Engage in Mindful Movement with Bamboo Sticks led by Marion Lyman-Mersereau.

A series of 16 exercise movements that helps strengthen and stretch different parts of your body while enhancing your balance. This routine was developed by an elderly Zen Master who wanted to keep his body supple. It’s about a 20-minute routine. Every joint is addressed. The bamboo stick movements are followed by some gentle yoga to relax the lower back and absorb the benefits of the routine.

Supplies needed: A bamboo or light stick at least the same height as you and Yoga mat if you would like to join the yoga session in the second half of the class.
