Phuc Luu is a theologian, artist, and author who teaches philosophy at Sam Houston State University in Texas.  His most recent book, Jesus of the East, recognizes the wounds caused by the current divisions in our country.  His work addresses the question, “Where can we find real healing that touches the deepest parts of our being?”  For those who are living in the space between hope and pain, Luu seeks to renew our creativity and draw us closer to the heart of God.

In honor of Black History Month, Phuc Luu composed the poem “Brown Skinned God.”  May this prayer lead you to place of worship.
