Sometimes we become fretful and a very uncomfortable feeling threatens our peace of mind. In these moments, it can be tempting to lose faith and let our anxieties overwhelm us. Our scriptures remind us, though, that even in the hardest times, God is with us, protecting and guiding us. May this be a source of comfort.
What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 8:31, 38-39
