This day marks one year since the fires that devastated the Lāhainā community on Maui. At noon, our Sanctuary carillon will sound; one toll for each life known to be lost in the fires. The 102 tolls will take approximately seven minutes to ring.

May we remember the many people whose lives were taken by the fires, and the many survivors who were left to pick up the pieces, many of whom are still struggling one year later.

We pray for continued healing and pono restoration of the community and ‘āina.
