“The gifts God gave were that some would be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ…from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by every ligament with which it is equipped, as each part is working properly, promotes the body’s growth in building itself up in love.” – Ephesians 4:11, 16
Not long ago, I was asked to describe Central Union in three words. The second word I used was, “Abundance.” By this, I meant that God has blessed the faith community of Central Union with a multitude of gifts and testimonies. Central Union’s cup overflows with the mana’o and talents that are present in the members. Blessings abound at Central Union because God is faithful and if we take the time to listen to what God is doing in the lives of others then we will be continuously amazed.
Recently, I learned of a blog by one of our church members, Margie Smith. Margie’s reflections are full of faith, clear, and rich with her authentic voice. As we continue through Eastertide, I encourage you to check out her apropos post about love and forgiveness. For today’s devotional, check out Margie’s blog, “A Moment with God” by clicking here.
